I — The Operation
Deep Spring Charters is Captain Steve Hardie and the Orca Mist, working the water off Prince Rupert on the North Coast of British Columbia. Thirty-five years of guiding here means knowing where the fish are on a given tide, in a given month, in a given year — and that is most of the job.
Salmon, halibut and ling cod are what we go after. There is wildlife viewing on the way out and back, and Dungeness crabbing in Rupert harbour when the day suits it.
